Hi everybodyyy :)

It was Jean's birthday yesterday and we had a small party at home. Pictures will be up soon! Oh my god, long line that is. I still have Crystal's Sweet Sixteen and Grad Night pictures before Jean's party!

So mommy allowed me to invite a few of my friends over. Many didn't manage to make it. So in the end, only Amelia, Crystal, Kenny and Yew Hung came over to join the party. It was fun and all lah. Haha we were basically bullying the juniors. Okay fine not WE. It was kinda just me alone. But it was damn syiok sendiri only lah. Yeesh, juniors nowadays. LOL :D

Yep and Amelia stayed over after the party, Crystal was jealous cos she couldn't stay over. Haha so we obviously talked and talked and talked. For hours. And I realised it had been so long since I last had this kinda heart-to-heart talk with her. Priceless man. Right Amelia? Watched Love Guru together and fell asleep halfway together. Woke up in the afternoon and continued talking. Haha endless topics man.

I had a really meaningful afternoon with Amelia. She's awesome lah really. Thank you so much for staying over babe. You really did make a difference ;)







Yep so thanks to Amelia, I've been thinking a lot today. We talked about our parents, our future, our lives. Big topics man. Feels like we've suddenly grown up already.

I'm so thankful that I am who I am today. I realize I'm far more fortunate than a lot of people out there. I'm counting my blessings. I have wonderful parents, lovely family and amazing friends. I suppose that's what life really is all about. Nothing beats love and friendship, seriously. I want to spread the love. I want to make a difference in this world. I want to make my life meaningful.

But sometimes, things are just so complicated and contradicting. Things we're doing right now can be so meaningful yet so pointless. Example, right now I'm thinking of my future. I'm planning what I'm gonna become in 20 years time. I set my goals. But I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. What if I'm gonna die tomorrow? Aren't all these so pointless? But if I keep thinking that my life's gonna end, then I wouldn't be planning ahead for my future. Then what I would be doing, would it be pointless or meaningful then? It's okay if you don't really get what I'm trying to say. But I just feel like sharing a piece of my mind in my little box here.

And recently, I've come to realize that I'm completely lost. I used to always have a goal in my life and I've always been trying hard to achieve it. But today, I come to realize that the goal that I had since young is not what I actually want. So what do I do? I'm lost. I'm trying really hard to think of my future. I want to succeed in life. I want to make a difference. I want to change something in this world. Okay I don't care if you think I'm being weird or anything right now, but I'm sure you'll come to this day when you think really deep into your life, then you'll truly understand how confused I am at this moment.

What if my ambition clashes with my parents' expectation? Should I be following my heart, or should I follow my parents? I know its my life, so the choice should be mine. But have you ever thought that, you actually don't have a choice, your parents are the ones who can give you your choices. I'm trying to say that, without your parents, you wouldn't be who you are today. So would you still be having the choice you're having right now? One more thing is, our parents always know what's best for us. What if I choose to follow my heart and go against my parents and in the end, I realize I've actually chosen the wrong path? But what if I choose to follow what my parents say, and I have to live a life that does not even belong to me and is the total opposite of what I really want?

I've just mentioned that I'm counting my blessings. I love my parents. But what I want right now is the total opposite of what my parents want for me. So do I just leave it to them to decide my future? But its my life to live! But I also cannot go against my parents at the same time. They made me who I am today. So what on earth am I supposed to do right now?!

And what if all that I'm worrying about right now, is actually pointless? I don't have any idea what's going to happen tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. Will I actually be able to live long enough to do what I want to do? But what do I want to do anyway? I guess it's about time I try to figure all this out. It's really really contradicting and confusing and complicated. It's life.

Oh and I was imagining a world without me. And I've come to realize what Mitch Albom said in his Five People You Meet in Heaven is really true. We all live in our own circle. This world is made up of many circles and all these circles are one. I strongly feel that every small action you're taking, in the end, actually leaves a big impact. You might be leaving a big impact in a stranger's life right now and you don't even know it. It's amazing how all these work. Fate. Have you looked through some of your pictures and realize there are people in the background? Have you ever wondered that how many times have you appeared in someone else's picture in the background?

So I left something for you guys to ponder on with me. I'm not sure whether you get what I'm trying to say. It's really abstract. But anyway I really do feel a lot better after letting my feelings flood this entry today. Thank you for reading, I really appreciate it. :)

So it's about time I hit the sacks right now. But before I go, I just want to say thank you everybody for being a part of my life. Don't you ever think you're playing a small part, you've actually brought a big difference. Always show the people you love how much you love them, before its too late.
